ABOUT MINDFUL CORA
I began my Taekwondo journey as a young child at the age of 5 and by the time I was 12, I had earned my black belt. It wasn’t until I saw all the hard work I had been putting into achieving my black belt that I truly fell in love with the martial art and wanted to start teaching.
After suffering two injuries in my legs, I realized I needed something to balance my Taekwondo training. I discovered yoga and tried a few classes. It taught me to breathe through the pain and frustration and to keep practicing even when I felt resistance.
I attended The College of New Jersey and immediately discovered mindfulness. Since graduating college in December, 2017, I continued to learn about how to teach mindfulness through the Mindful Schools Year-Long certification course. Through this course, I’ve learned from some of the most experienced mindfulness teachers all about the science, practice, and business behind mindfulness.
I’m currently located in Hunterdon County, NJ and working with several different organizations and schools to bring mindfulness, yoga, and Taekwondo to many different people. My dream is to one day open up my own school or community center where I can teach people of all ages the practices that I have dedicated my life to!
