Class Description
8-Week Summer Chakra Yoga Series Chakra means "wheel" and refers to the energy centers in the body. The most commonly known chakras are the 7 that run along the spine from the tailbone to the top of the head. These energy centers connect to different emotions, experiences, and lessons we had throughout our life. When these chakras are opened, we feel healthy and balanced. And when they are blocked or suppressed, we can run into patterns of stress or hardship. This yoga course will discuss the characteristics of each chakra and provide basic yoga poses and practices that help to open and balance the mind, body, and spirit. This is a beginner friendly yoga class, and all abilities are welcome! It's a fun way to tap into the chakra even more and also see what color in your wardrobe you tend to wear the most or shy away from!
